Dhamaka Trailer OUT: Kartik Aaryan Looks Intense In The Film That Will Surely Give You The Thrills And Chills-WATCH
Kartik Aaran will be seen playing Arjun Pathak in ‘Dhamaka’, helmed by Ram Madhvani
The wait is finally over, as fans can now catch sight of the much-awaited trailer of Kartik Aaryan's ‘Dhamaka’. The actor who reigned over the romantic-comedy genre has finally stepped out of his lover boy image, and from the looks of it, Dhamaka can well be the turning point of his career.
Dhamaka's trailer features Kartik Aaryan as a news anchor, named Arjun Pathak. The film's plot revolves around him chasing TRPs while Mumbai is under a terrorist attack. The trailer shows Amruta Subhash as Arjun's TRP-hungry boss, and Mrunal Thakur as his wife. Both have nailed their respective characters.
The trailer opens in the backdrop of bomb blasts at the Bandra-Worli Sea Link in Mumbai. Kartik's Arjun is seen negotiating with Amruta as the channel head to return as a news anchor on his radio show. He then addresses the nation and connects with the terrorist on his show. The twist in the plot is the terrorist tells him to call a minister and tell him to apologise or he would blow up the remaining Sea Link - which would kill his wife, played by Mrunal, too.
Kartik looks fabulous as a cynical news anchor who gets an alarming call on his radio show. The actor, known for his comic and light roles, seems to have leapt on this opportunity as his restrained portrayal of a news anchor on the crossroads of life looks endearing and promising.
Dhamaka’s trailer, in its entirety also, has received an overwhelming response, and the actor is being showered with love from all quarters.
